Management of Ibadan based radio station, Splash FM 105.5FM, have reportedly ordered the ban of all Naira Marley songs across all it’s stations.

Following numerous calls for a ban on songs by Naira Marley and any tracks linked to his music label, this decision has been made by Splash FM.

A plea has been extended to radio stations and DJs nationwide, urging them to amplify Mohbad’s music in commemoration of his life, as opposed to the previous call for a ban on Naira Marley’s songs and those affiliated with his label. This move seeks to honor the late artist’s legacy through his musical contributions.

Recently, there was an incident in Ikorodu, an area of Lagos state,where an hotel was heard playing Zinolensky’s song, youths in the area reportedly went in to destroy some equipments.
