Male Undergraduate Stabs Girlfriend In A Fierce Tussle, After She Called Him A ‘Kidnapper’

An undergraduate student of UNIPORT has been Apprehended by the Edo state police and presently in prison over the de@th of his girlfriend

Victor Ochonogor, a student of Applied And Industrial Chemistry, in a fierce tussle with his late girlfriend, Susan Regha, stabbed her to her untimely de@th.

The tragedy erupted after it was believed Late Susan came all the way from Asaba to visit her Boyfriend in Benin. In a mini-quarrel which later escalated into a fierce one, Susan accused and called her boyfriend a kidnapper.

This accusation did not go down well with Victor who reportedly went to the kitchen for a knife, Susan followed suit too. In the cause of the fight, she eventually got stabbed in the neck and chest.

While Victor got stabbed likewise in his neck too. He was later taken to hospital for treatment. At Stella Obasanjo Hospital

Police PRO in the state in a statement revealed and confirmed the incident. He said:

“Items recovered from the suspect are two blood-stained knives, two iPhones, one Nokia phone, one laptop, and two ATM cards,” Nwabuzor said.

“The case was later transferred to the homicide section, State Criminal Investigation Department Benin. The suspect will be charged in court for murder soon.”

While being paraded before the press, Ochonogor was reported to have told journalists that he had been dating his late girlfriend for three years.
