Roberto Mancini confirmed his appointment at the new Saudi Arabia National team manager on Sunday evening.

Mancini, who left his role as the Italian national team manager a few days ago, took to his verified social media platform [X App] to confirm his appointment as the new football national team manager of the oil rich nation.

The former Manchester City manager signed 4 year contract worth around €30m a year, making him the highest paid football coach in the world.

Mancini’s first assignment in charge of the Saudi Arabian national team will be next month’s international friendly dates with Costa Rica and Korea Republic at Newcastle’s St James Park.
