Fake Nigerian Doctor Apprehended When He Went For A Job Interview At Covenant University

Officials of the Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners were left in shock during an interview when it was discovered that one Abawulor Omenka was a fake doctor!

Abawulor Omenka was in an interview with the officials when he was nabbed. He was applying for the position of a medical officer at the Covenant University Medical Centre, Ota.

35-year-old Omenka reportedly presented fake credentials and certificates amongst which includes a photocopy of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria registration certificate which was signed 2015.

The suspect also boldly presented a fake certificate which he revealed he got after his completion from Benue State University and he went further to disclose that he graduated with a Second Class Upper Division.

Hell was let loose when it was discovered his MDCN registration number was exactly the same as those who got Certified 4 decades ago.

After severe interrogation by 3 interview panelists, the suspect later confessed of working as an auxiliary nurse in his neighborhood.

A close source who withnessed the whole charade disclosed:

 “The man first went to Covenant University Health Centre last week to apply for the post of Medical Officer.

“The MD of the centre, Dr. Ademola Adebanjo, suspected foul play and scheduled him for an interview this week.

“He then reached out to Dr. Kayode Oyelade, the Chairman of ANPMP, Ogun State chapter about his suspicions. So Dr. Oyelade and Dr. Akin Oyejoko, an executive of the association sat in the interview panel yesterday to be able to get to the root of the matter. That was how he was nabbed.”

When questioned where he got the fake certificates from, he confessed he got them from fraudsters at Oluwole in Lagos Island.
