A 24-year old envious wife is currently in Police net. The suspect Mrs. Furera Abubakar, is accused of ending the life of a four-day old baby

The baby is reported to belong to her husband’s other wife. Furera carried out the evil act using an insecticide known as Gramalin.

This unbelievable incident was reported to take place at Bantu village, in Bauchi State.

Mrs. Furera Abubakar, is currently going through rigorous investigation in police custody

According to eye witness report, the late baby was born on the 15th August, 2023 and k!lled on the 19th August, 2023, at the Abubakar’s residence.

The suspect was reported to gain entry into her co-wife’s room with Gramalin and intentionally applied it to the 4-year old baby’s unhealed umbilical cord.

“The liquid, which was suspected to have corrosive effect, led to the deterioration of the baby’s health and subsequent death,” Police Spokesperson, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who confirmed the incident revealed.
