Saudi Pro side Al Nassr have completed the signing of Spanish international Aymeric Laporte from Premier League Champions Manchester City on a three year contract worth close to €30m
The club confirmed the arrival of the French born centre back using their verified social media platforms on Thursday afternoon. The statement read, ” We have officially signed the Spanish star Aymeric Laporte “
Laporte, becomes Al Nassr ‘s latest signing this summer following the earlier arrival of Sadio Mane and Otavio from Bayern Munich and FC Porto respectively and another high profile player to join the Saudi League as well.
The defender who joined Manchester City in January 2018 from Athletic club de Bilbao. He won 13 trophies at the Etihad which includes Five Premier League titles, Three League Cups, Two FA Cup titles and 1 UEFA Champions League title. He made 180 appearances for the Citizens and scored 12 goals within his time at the club.
