In Edo State, a man identified as Gabriel Ahuwa, an octogenarian, has been arrested by the state police command because he alledgedly hacked his 75-year-old wife to death because she refused to have sex with him .

According to eye witness report, the suspect had already reported his wife to their first daughter who in turn paid her late mother a visit to resolve the issue. But the late woman refused sleeping with her husband

According to the suspect, he heard rumours going around about his wife sleeping around with pastors. Since she declined his advances, he took a machete and chopped her to death.

When asked if he regretted his actions, the 85-year-old man replied, “No.”
