No Increase In School Fees, Kano State Government Confirms

Kano State Government has put an Halt on the proposed Hike on fees for private schools in the state.

This was a decision after a closed door meeting between the Special Adviser to the Kano State Government on Private Schools, Baba Umar and the major private school partners.

Also the states special adviser revealed to private school owners that it is compulsory they renew the operating licence

Baba Umar disclosed reason for the suspension ofschool fees hike was mainly to stop exploitation in private schools

Schools in Kano State are on vacation, they are ready to start new session amidst subsidy removal

However, there are varied opinions among school owners and parents regarding the government’s choice.
