Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, has order the immediate reconstruction of Ita-Oshin-Ayetoro road in Ogun West Senatorial District.

It was reported that Governor Abiodun made the pronouncement during the commissioning of the 7 kilometres Ibooro/Imasayi/Ayetoro road in Yewa North Local Government Area.

“On my way here from Abeokuta, I rode through the Ita-Oshin to this intersection. I asked my Special Adviser, how many kilometres bearing in mind that this is yet another federal road amongst so many federal roads that we have in Ogun State.

“This road will not allow us to reap the full benefit of this road that we are doing from Imasayi to Ayetoro. We have to do something about it and I want to make that pronouncement today.

“I have instructed that the Ministry of Works immediately come here and do an assessment of the road from Ita-Oshin to Ibooro. We will divide that road into phases, maybe two or three phases and we will begin the immediate reconstruction of that road.

“We have left it initially because the Federal Government promised that they were going to reconstruct it. But as you can see, they are not ready. Be rest assured that coming from Abeokuta to Ayetoro very soon will be a very pleasurable drive,” the governor said.
