Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich have officially completed the signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspurs on a 4 year contract worth €100m plus €20m in add-ons.

The English International flew to Munich on Friday and completed a routine medical test before putting pen to paper on a deal that will keep the forward at Munich till the summer of 2027.

The club released a statement soon after, confirmed that the Player has joined Thomas Tuchel ‘s side. The Statement read, ” FC Bayern signs Harry Kane “

The 30 year old poacher ends an 21 year stay at Spurs, the club he joined back in 2004 as an eleven year old boy. He signed on professionally in the summer of 2010 and made his Premier League debut in Spurs 2-1 loss to Newcastle United in August 2012, coming on as a 86th minute substitute for Sandro.

The Three Lions’ captain made 435 appearances for the North London outfit, scoring 280 goals during his time at the club. Despite on winning a major trophy at the club, he picked up the Premier League Golden Boot gong after the 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2020-21 seasons.

The ambition to become the Premier League’s all time goal scorer ends with his departure to Bayern. Alan Shearer continues to hold the record at 260 goals with Harry Kane not too far off, he is at 213 Premier League goals.

He however is the one with the most goals for a single Premier League team and only finished second with 30 PL goals last season behind Erling Haaland who scored 36.

He [Kane] is expected to make his debut later today when Bayern Munich takes on RB Leipzig in the DFL Super Cup with the possibility of lifting a first ever title.
