Chelsea football club have officially completed the signing of Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from fellow Premier League team Brighton on a 7 year contract worth an initial £20m plus £5m in add-ons.
Using their verified social media platforms, the club issued a brief statement that effect.
Sanchez, joined Brighton as a 15 year old kid in 2013 from Levante before signing his first professional deal two years later. Capped twice by Spain, the 25 year old shot stopper made 25 appearances from Brighton last season before losing his place to Jason Steele at the tail end of the 22/23 campaign.
He joins Chelsea as a possible deputy to his compatriot Kepa Arrizabalaga and is the club’s fifth summer signing .
