President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that the Federal Government has received encouragement and support from global communities over his policies, removing fuel subsidy as well as the single exchange rate.

President Tinubu convaned his words at a Gala/Award Night organised by the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, in order to acknowledge and honour civil servants who have been exceptional in their line of duty.

It was reported that the president was ably represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.

He said, “We shall without delay cushion the pains being experienced by our people as a result of these measures through a number of well-targeted interventions aimed at giving adequate relief and succour to a great number of our long- suffering citizens.”
