Ingredients required are 5 coconuts, 7 cups of water, grated.
A fresh mature coconut is needed, You can shake it to know how mature it is. If you hear the water sloshing around inside, it is not yet mature. A mature coconut will feel full and heavy. Then place the coconut on a hard surface and give it a few sharp whacks with a hammer or heavy knife. Rotate the coconut as you hit it to create an even crack around the circumference.
