Saudi Arabia outfit today unveils the signing of Liverpool’s captain Jordan Henderson putting an end to his 12 years spell at Liverpool. The English midfielder signed a long contract until 2026.

Jordan Henderson joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011, he was made Liverpool permanent captain after Steven Gerrard departed the club in 2015.
During his 12 years spell Henderson has won every available trophy – guiding Liverpool to their first ever Premier League title in 2019. He led the team to their first UEFA Champions League after 15 years.
During his 12 years from the 2011 season to 2023,he played 492 matches in all tournaments, during which he managed to score 33 goals, and contributed to making 58 goals.
Al-Mishal said: “There is no doubt that Henderson is a distinguished addition, as we completed the deal after the recommendation of sports director Elko Chatori and the technical staff led by English coach Stephen Gerrard, who accompanied him as a player and knows his capabilities and capabilities that the agreement needs during the next stage.”
