Reps Objected To Motion Suggesting Naira Stability

Reports has emerged as the House of Representatives reportedly object a motion asking the Federal Government to take compulsory measures to stabilize the Naira.

It was reported that a member of the House, Honourable Beni Lar raised a motion concerning the government’s unification policy.

Honourable Lar said that the importation of vehicles and other commodities has greatly reduced since the floating of the Naira with the single exchange rate by president Ahmed Tinubu.

According to her, she weigh her concerns on the effect of the unified exchange rates on Nigerian students studying abroad. She cited that there has been a massive increase on the tuition fee abroad of about sixty percent. Honourable Lar argued that about the potential impact of the current economic situation.
