Southampton has rejected Liverpool’s first official bid for 19-year-old Romeo Lavia. The saint has allegedly turned down a first bid from Liverpool – thought to be worth around £37m, as they seek a fee of around £50m for the Belgian starlet as per David Oistein.
With the spontaneous departure of the midfield duo Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to Saudi Arabia, Liverpool, who released Naby Keïta, Oxlade Chamberlain, and James Milner in the earliest of summer as free agents, will now be forced to make more recruitment in their midfield.
Romeo, who has been heavily linked away from Southampton this summer, is keen on a move to a top club and may force his way out should the Saint frustrate the deal.
