Nigerian descent and Switzerland forward Noah Okafor has been unveiled by AC as the new club’s addition. Noah Arinzechukwu Okafor signed a contract until 2028, joining from Red Bull Salzburg.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has acquired the footballer Noah Arinzechukwu Okafor from Red Bull Salzburg FC on a permanent basis. The Swiss striker has signed a contract with the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2028.”
Okafor was born in Binningen, Switzerland, to a Nigerian father and a Swiss mother.
Okafor is of Igbo descent. His father is from Nigeria and his mother is Swiss. He emerged from the academy of Basel. In 2020, he joined Salzburg, where he made 110 caps and scored 34 goals, winning 4 Championship and 3 Australian Cup.
Okafor who is no longer eligible to play for Nigeria has been capped 14 times by the Switzerland national team since making his debut in 2019 – having gone through it academic levels of U17, U18 and U19.
