Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signing of Nigerian International Victor Boniface from Belgian club Union Saint Gilloise for €20m plus add ons.
The 2002 UEFA Champions League finalist through their verified social media platforms announced the player’s arrival. The striker signed a 5 year deal that keeps him at the club till June 2028.
The 22 year old was a key member of the Union Saint Gilloise team, scoring 9 League goals in 37 appearances..
He was also instrumental in the club’s modest run at last season’s UEFA Europa League, winning the competition golden boot. He scored 6 goals same as Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
The former Bodoe-Glint forward is yet to make his international debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
