Premier League outfit, Aston Villa have completed the signing of French International Moussa Diaby for an initial fee believed to be €50m.
In a statement issued by the club via their social media platforms, the former Paris Saint Germain winger put pen on a five year contract, keeping him at the Midlands outfit till June 2028.
The 24 year old who joined Bayer Levekusen from PSG back in 2019 rejected an offer to join a Saudi Arabia club in other to complete a switch to Villa. Capped 10 times for France, Diaby made 48 appearance for Leverkusen last season, scoring 14 goals.
He becomes Unai Emery’s lsecond major summer signing after Spanish international defender Pau Torres joined from Villarea for €33m.
