Malaria: This is a disease caused by a parasite called Plasmodium falciparum and can spread via mosquito bites.

To treat Malaria, anti malaria drugs are needed such as; chloroquine and artemisinin.

Malaria Transmission;

It is caused by a parasite called Plasmodium, it enters the body when an infected mosquitoes bites a human being, the parasites enter the body via the skin to the liver, it later mature and reproduction will now take place, once they mature, the will travel through the blood cells and begin to multiply that is when the infected person will start having signs and symptoms of Malaria.

Symptoms Of Malaria

The symptoms starts after10_15 days of been bitten by the infected mosquito, symptoms such as high fever, shaking chills, and slight headaches, vomiting, nausea, the symptoms can lead to seizures, coma, and death, that is if the case is severe. The severity of the symptoms can be vary depending on the type of malaria parasite and the patient’s immune system.

Prevention

A. Avoid being bitten by mosquito inorder to prevent Malaria.

B. Use insect repellant

C. Wearing long-sleeved.

D. By using mosquito nets

E. Avoid areas where mosquitoes are present

F. If you are traveling to a malaria-endemic area, it’s also important to take preventive medication.
