Premier League giants, Manchester United have named Bruno Fernandes as their permanent captain.

Using their verified social media platforms, the club announced the latest piece of news.. The statement read ‘ introducing our new captain”.

Fernandes, who at times captained the side when the former captain , Harry Maguire wasn’t in the field of play at certain times last season and the season before that, now replaces the English man as the club’s captain.

It would be recalled that Harry Maguire was stripped of the armband by Erik ten Tag a few days ago. Before the announcement a few minutes ago, the Portuguese international appeared the clear favorite to be named as Maguire’s replacement.
