FC Lorient signed Benjamin Mendy following his freedom from rape allegations. 

Benjamin Mendy has been unveiled by French Ligue1 side FC Lorient after the defender was cleared of all rape and attempted rape charges by multiple women.

The club confirmed that Mendy has been acquired as a free agent and has signed a two-year contract with the club.

Mendy who was released last month will return to active football since the rape allegation.
