The Governor, of Taraba State Agbu Kefas, has reportedly set up a committee for the assessment and recovery of state assets.
According to the governor, he said the committee is saddled with the responsibility of determining and ensuring the quantity of moveable and immovable assets in the state.
He added that the committee will also examine the economic and monetary value of each asset, as well as establishing how acceptable the asset will be.
The thirteen member committee includes Rtd Colonel Nwunuke Agyo, Rtd Navy Captain Atiku Bakari, Chief of Staff, State House of Assembly representative, state Auditor General representative, nominee of the state accountant General, and nominee of the National Assembly.
