Ahead of the fash approaching 2023 FIBA Afro Basket Championships, the Nigerian Basketball Federation have invited 20 players to the D’Tigress Camp.

The 20 players set to slug it out in camp includes Sarah Phone , Toyosi Abiola, Tomi Taiwo, Onaibe Believe Jessica and Theresa Ebiega. Others are Okoro Ifunaya, Hembam Wandoo, ElizabethBalogun, Mariam Olawoyin, Adeyeye Adebola , Amanda Okodugba, Amy Okonkwo, Pallas Akpanah and Blessing Ejiofor to mention a few.

The camp according to the itinerary opens on the 18th of July and the team’s new coach Rena Wakam takes charge of proceeding for the first time since her appointment.

The D’Tigress who are the championship’s defending champions would be aiming for a 4th title when the competition kicks off in Kigali on the 28th of July.
