Ex African footballers , Emmanuel Adebayor and Alexander Song both have different takes on who is deserving of the 2023 African footballer of year. While the former Togolese international went for Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, Song went for his country man in Andre- Frank Zambo Anguissa.

In Adebayor’s words, he would give Osimhen all his votes and even more. As for Song, he feels his country man , Zambo Anguissa should take it because he had a great season as well, helping Napoli lift the Scudetto as well.
