Just less than four days to kick off the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Super Falcons Jersey number has been revealed.
Among notable players is the team Captain, Ebi Onome who will be making her sixth appearance at the FIFA World Cup and will wear the number 5. Atlético Madrid player Rasheedat Ajibade takes the number 15 while Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala will retain the number 8 jersey she’s familiar with.

The 11th-time African Champions will play in their 9th World Cup, becoming the first African country with such a landmark. Their best performance came in 1999
they reached the last 8 but unfortunately were knocked out by Brazil after a fierce encounter.
The Falcons will open their campaign against co-host Canada on the 21st of July (5 days to now) and Australia on the 27th of the same month. Their last group game will be played on the 31st against the Republic of Ireland.
