West Ham United have today confirmed the departure of Declan Rice who is set to join Arsenal football club.
The London Stadium based outfit released a statement to this effect on their various Social Media handles with the caption ” we can confirm that Declan Rice has left West Ham”.
The English Midfielder is expected to complete the long awaited switch to Arsenal for British transfer record fee of £105m.
Rice, 24 joined West Ham from Chelsea in 2014 and rose within the ranks to replace Mark Noble as captain. He made 245 appearances and scored 10 goals across all competitions for the club.
He also helped David Moyes’ side lift the UEFA Europa Conference League title last season, beating Italian side Fiorentina 2–1.
