Wimbledon : Alcaraz Beats Medvedev To Set Up Final Meet With Djokovic

Men’s world number 1, Carlos Alcaraz will face Novak Djokovic in final game of the Men’s singles event at the on going Wimbledon Championship after defeating Danil Medvedev in the second semi final contest.

The Spanish youngster, from the get go made his intentions clear with a quick fire start to proceedings as he went on to win the contest in 3 straight sets 6-3 6-3 6-3.

Alcaraz will now play in his first Wimbledon final for a shot at the prestigious title. He also becomes the second male tennis player to make it into a Wimbledon final in an open era.

Sunday’s final at the centre court will be the second time that Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic [ world no 1 and no 2 respectively] will be facing one another in a grand slam final.
