Former Manchester Ciity, Benjamin Mendy has been cleared of the rape and attempted rape charge allegedly levelled against him.

After a jury deliberation that lasted for three hours at the Chester court court, he was acquitted of all charges,. Shortly after the pronouncement of the verdict was made, he broke down in tears declaring he was delighted the verdict.

The French International was accused of carrying out sex attack on two ladies at his mansion worth £4m. Earlier on, he was also cleared of six counts of rape and one count of sexual assault after a court case in January
