A business man based in Lagos was lured to Osun State by a female teenager who is also a student of Osun State University (UNIOSUN). Her name is Ahiante Victory Ehiremen.
She lured the man who got her details from Facebook to her boyfriend’s house there in Osun, forcefully stealing from him a sum of N1.5M naira.
Ehiremen connived with her boyfriend to carry out this dastardly act. The hands of the law caught up with them and they were arrested. The police command in Osun paraded Ehiremen, her boyfriend called Ariyo Ayobami and his friend Opeyemi Adeleke for armed robbery offence.
The University Of Osun on hearing this, went ahead to declare Ehimeren expelled from the school.
The school’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adebooye in a press conference revealed that after hearing security information about her from the Police command in Osun State with crimes of armed robbery and conspiracy levelled up against her, the school authority’s hands are tied and were left with no other option than to have her expelled from the University.
In his words:
“Ahiante Victory Ehiremen’s alleged involvement in a criminal act is in violation of her matriculation oath. She has made a written statement which the University has considered alongside the available intelligence report.
“The University authorities have therefore decided that Ms Ahiante Victory Ehiremen is hereby placed on indefinite suspension in line with regulations guiding studentship pending the determination of her case according the law of the Federation.”
