Show Of Shame As US Hotel Calls Police To Halt Nigerians’ Igbo Cultural Event (Video)

An event that was believed to be a joyous one ended up being disrupted and filled with shame and mixed feelings.

Reports reaching RantHq has it that Nigerians from the Mbaise community in Imo State, had their cultural event brought to an halt when the hotel where the event was taking place had it’s management call the police on them to abruptly shut it down. This happened in Texas state in the United States of America.

An attendee who claimed anonymous disclosed that this is coming after a whopping sum of $92,000 was paid to Westin Hotel at Irvine, Texas, in other to secure the hotel’s Hall to use for the event.

The man who spoke in anger saying;

This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.

“We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad… let’s build our country… We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad”

Reasons for the Hotel’s actions is still unknown at the time of this report.
