It was a momentous day for the citadel of learning, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago -Iwoye when the school’s Faculty of Law students came tops in the Just concluded Justice Umezulike National Law debate.
This Prestigeous national debate competition has Law students from universities all over Nigeria competing to win;
A cash price of N350,000
Award plaques,Certificates of excellence and law books.
The competition’s main purpose is the promotion of qualitative legal education and also equipping upcoming young lawyers with the necessary skills allowing them to be successful in their Law career
The final stage had Olabisi Onabanjo University(OOU) and University of Nigeria Enugu campus (UNEC) competiting against each other.
OOU Law Faculty was represented by Wuraola Okuneye and Runsewe Oluwakemi who emerged as the winner. While UNEC had Ugochukwu Precious Nmesonma and Eze Nwakaego Ogochukwu as their representative. They emerged as the 1st runner up. Nwakaego Ogochukwu of UNEC was the Best Speaker in the competition.
