This may sound strange but trust me it’s very true. There’s a church in Agege, a town in Lagos, where all it’s members are BLIND.

Welcome to Bethesda Church.

All members are visually impaired. All Members including the Pastor, instrumentalists, ushers and choir members.

Pastor Chima and his wife Pastor Ohakwe are the owners of the church. They both hail from Afikpo-South Ebonyi state. In an interview, Pastor Chima revealed he wasn’t born blind but was strucked by measles at a tender age of 9. The ailment coupled with his parent’s recklessness taking care of him damaged his eye sight.

Why establishing a church for the blind?

Pastor Ohakwe revealed that; It’s a Divine calling for her and her husband. She further narrated that the vision was revealed to her in a dream.
